Description
Here's my homage to the first book in Susan Cooper's fantasy series, "The Dark is Rising". I either have to say a lot about this, or not much. I'm afraid there's no middle ground. Anyway, I spent a lot of time on this picture. With it's size, and my stupid computer, it took me a while. That, and the background is rather large. gah. Anyway, I'm pleased with it.

Awesome! If it weren't for the fact that the series took place in the UK, I would say this picture would make a good manga cover. It's too bad that the movie "The Seeker" really butchered the series, or else I would really look forward to seeing who can play the Drew kids in real life.
