Here's my homage to the first book in Susan Cooper's fantasy series, "The Dark is Rising". I either have to say a lot about this, or not much. I'm afraid there's no middle ground. Anyway, I spent a lot of time on this picture. With it's size, and my stupid computer, it took me a while. That, and the background is rather large. gah. Anyway, I'm pleased with it.

Left to right: Jane Drew, Barney Drew, Simon Drew. (I don't know who I want to take home more... Barney or Simon. They are so adorable. Let me adopt you!!)

Never heard of the book,but it sounds like an interesting read.Lovely BG,and nice colors.A fun,happy scene.

The detail in this is awesome and I love how the characters are interacting with one another. It makes me want to read the series ^^

I want Simon! Jane and Barney are cute too ^.^ even though I didn't like the name "Barney" x.x.. I think it doesn't fit him..
